This week Fareway has a regional ad, so you will see similarities, but there could be some differences, so check your ads for your store’s specials! I am using the Le Mars ad for your reference. A few things I like are the store brand mac & cheese @ .29/box (limit 6), Libby’s corn, beans, or peas @ 4/$2, and Sunbelt Granola & Cereal bars @ 5/$10 ($2 each). You should find a coupon for .55/1 on the Sunbelt at coupons.com, making these $1.45/box! The Libby’s is a good price, but I wouldn’t say it’s a stock-up price. I also see Oscar Mayer hot dogs @ 3/$5 ($1.67 each), and if you printed the $1/2 coupon last week and haven’t used it, this will make them $1.17/package when you buy two, which isn’t bad for quality hot dogs. The Voila is 2/$7 ($3.50 each), which isn’t bad for a quick meal for two. There have been coupons in the past for these, but I am not currently seeing any, so be sure to check again before you head to the store! The 7-Up 6-pack bottles is 5/$10, which is a pretty good price. I also like the Fareway bulk potato salad @ $1.99/pound. I love their potato salad...it tastes like my grandma used to make! At Hy-Vee there is a Two-Day Sale on Thursday and Friday! My favorites on this sale are the Dole iceberg lettuce @.68/head, Van Camps Pork & Beans @.29, and Hunt’s ketchup @ .69. Also included are 2-liter store brand pop @ .49, Blue Bonnet @ .58, Midwest Country Fare sugar @ .99, and Banquet pot pies @ .39. Their regular ad has Kellogg’s Pop Tarts @ $1.48, and there are coupons available at kelloggfamilyrewards.com. If you have 1000 points, you can get a coupon for $1.50/1, making those free! If not, they have .75/1 for 500 points, or lower value coupons you can print with no points. If you like Cheerios (select varieties), this is your week to get some! They are 4/$5 with the $4.00/4 store coupon, and there are $1/2 manufacturer’s coupons for $1/2 at coupons.com (print two!), bringing them down to .75 per box when you buy four! They also have store brand instant oatmeal @ .99, store brand orange juice @ .99, strawberries @ $1.28/16oz. pkg., and Blue Bunny premium ice cream @ $2.99 (if you’d like to treat your family)! If you are signed up for Blue Bunny’s iScream Team, check your e-mails! I just received a coupon for .75/1 on the premium ice cream, bringing it down to $2.24! Those are my favorites this week!
