This week Fareway has a regional ad, so you may see similar deals, but be sure to check your local ad for specifics! My deals are based on the Le Mars ad. The first thing that’s jumping out at me is the General Mills deal on the front page. There is a store in-ad coupon to save $4 when you buy 10 General Mills items (.99 or greater). Again, keep in mind that you may stack manufacturer’s coupons with the store coupon! Here is the scenario I plan to do: Buy 6 Yoplait Greek @ $1 each and 4 Totino’s pizza rolls @ $1 each for $10 - $4 store coupon = $6.00. I also have 2 Totinos coupons for $1.25/1 (no longer available, however there may be a .40/2 coupon from the 1/26 Smart Source insert), and I have (2) $1/2 printables from coupons.com and (2) .50/1 coupons from http://greektasteoff.tumblr.com/, saving me an additional $5.50. So, assuming they take the $1.25 Totinos coupon at face value, I will only pay .50 for all ten items! If they adjust the coupon down to the price of the Totinos (1.00), I will pay $1.00 total. I can’t complain either way! Also on the front page of the ad is Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats @ 4/$10, and there is a store coupon to save $3 on milk or orange juice when you buy 4 Mini Wheats. Be sure to use manufacturer’s coupons on your cereal! There are $1.50/1 coupons at kelloggsfamilyrewards.com if you have enough points to redeem this high-value coupon. If you don’t have enough points, there are lower value coupons on the same website. Since the ad is regional, I will not go into further detail.
At Hy-Vee I see Oscar Mayer Lunchables, bologna, or cotto salami @ $1 each, Ragu @ $1, Barilla Pasta @ $1, and Dole premium classic salad @ $1. There was a $1/2 Ragu coupon in the 3/9 Red Plum insert that was regional, so you may or may not have that coupon. Also, Barilla has a “Discover Spring” sweeps entry on their facebook page that will provide a $1/2 coupon after entering. This makes the pasta .50 each, which is a stock-up price! Hy-Vee also has eggs @ $1, and be sure to pay attention to the store coupons on page 9. Coupons.com has manufacturer’s coupons for Velveeta (@ $4.99 w/store coupon) & Oscar Mayer hot dogs (@3/$5 w/store coupon), saving you an additional $1 on the Velveeta and $1/2 on the hot dogs.
That’s my breakdown for the week. What deals are you seeing?
