We have faith. So we understand that everything was made when God commanded it. That’s why we believe that what we see was not made out of what could be seen. Hebrews 11:1-3 NIRV
Have you ever thought it was easy for Abraham to follow God because Abraham knew how it would all turn out?
I would challenge that line of thinking. Have you ever truly put yourself in the midst of the Bible story, and pretended that you don't know how everything ended up? I've been doing that lately, because there are several situations in my life that I just don't know how they're going to turn out. I have a lot of empathy for the Bible characters for when they're in the "wait" time.
I draw courage from knowing the outcome they had, but I'm in the not knowing part right now. Are you?
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you that you are always with me. Help me to have the patience to look to you with childlike faith in the times I need to quietly wait upon you knowing your plan is always the best. Amen.
